Do I need a prescription to use your pool?
No, a prescription is not necessary for water fitness classes, personal training, or open swim.
What if I can't swim?
We recommend that all class participants wear a buoyancy belt (provided) when in deep water, regardless of swimming ability. If you feel uncomfortable in the deep water, you may choose to hold the wall of the pool.
What should I bring?
Bring a towel, swim suit, and clothes to change into after you're done in the water. Water bottle, sunglasses, hat, and water shoes are optional.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 2 hours' advance notice for class, personal training, and open swim cancellations in order to avoid a $10 fee.
How big are your classes?
Class sizes vary; all classes are limited to 6-12 individuals with 1-2 instructors.
Do you have a locker room? Showers?
We have two private changing rooms with showers, in addition to a handicap-accessible shower in both the women's and men's restrooms. We do not have a locker room. Personal belongings are kept in storage cubbies on the pool deck. Please leave valuables at home.
I am lost. How do I find Muller Aquatic Center?
We are located in the Funk Zone right behind Municipal Winemakers. Follow the black and white checkered tiles until you see our sign "Muller Aquatic Center." For more detailed directions, click HERE.
Do you use chlorine?
Yes, the pool is sanitized with chlorine. Our water chemistry is monitored closely throughout the day to ensure chlorine and pH levels remain adequate to keep our water clean and healthy.
If I have open wounds, can I still use the pool?
All open wounds must be covered by a waterproof dressing prior to entering the water. We recommend 3M Tegaderm Transparent Film dressings, which may be purchased at your local drug store or online. Post-operative patients must have written approval from their surgeon prior to beginning aquatic therapy or any of our water fitness classes.
Is the water warm?
Yes, the pool is always kept at 91-degrees, an ideal temperature for moderate exercise and stretching.
