Aquatic Physical Therapy Director
Breanna obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2006 and has over a decade of experience working as an aquatic physical therapist. After joining the Muller Aquatic Center staff in 2015, Breanna completed an additional certification as an Aquatic Facility Operator from the National Recreation & Parks Association, which allows her to oversee our pool’s chemical balance on a daily basis. Breanna has completed advanced aquatic rehab coursework in orthopedics, balance, pediatrics, Parkinson’s Disease, and sports injuries. She is an active member of Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute (ATRI), Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA), and the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Aquatic Physical Therapy.

Physical Therapy Assistant
Paul has been working as physical therapy assistant in Muller & Weber’s main office and at the pool for the past eight years. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications from San Francisco State University and obtained his Physical Therapy Assistant degree in 2010. Paul's interest in physical therapy started with endurance sports while competing in marathons and triathlons. In his free time, Paul participates in extended meditation retreats, back country trail running, and the science of bio-hacking for self-optimization. Paul believes the empowerment of health belong to everyone and strives to show his patients the connection between how daily decisions influence well-being.
Travis began working as our full-time Aquatic Director in May 2018 and oversees all aspects of facility management, program development, and marketing, in addition to working as an aide, lifeguard, and instructor. Originally from Colorado, Travis double-majored in psychology and geography at the University of Oregon, where he was a 3-time All-American track & field athlete. Prior to joining our staff, Travis spent 10 years working as a Division I track & field coach at University of Wisconsin and UCSB.
Lifeguard, Aide, Class Instructor
Rod is our most experienced aide, having joined the staff at Muller Aquatic Center in December 2017. Rod grew up running in the hills of Moraga, California before moving to Santa Barbara for college. He graduated from UCSB with a degree in Physiology and a passion for health, exercise, and helping others. A competitive Ironman triathlete, Rod loves to apply his passion for coaching when working with personal training clients and teaching water fitness classes. He plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist.
Lifeguard, Aide, Class Instructor
Melissa began working at Muller Aquatic Center in May 2018. She graduated from UCSB in 2006 with her Bachelors degree in Sociology, and she's certified as a NASM Personal Trainer as well. Melissa hopes to start graduate school to obtain her Masters degree in Athletic Training in 2019. When she's not at the pool, Melissa works at SBCC's Athletic Training Room & is currently finishing coursework for her AA in Physical Education.
